In the less than 24 hours, I will be on a plane to HAITI!! This is my final day to pack and prepare for this trip that will undoubtedly change my life. Last night I decided starting today with a sunrise was absolutely necessary in helping set the tone for the next ten days! After a long night of editing, I jumped in my car and headed to Louisville, KY. I had to pick up a lens from Amy at Murphy’s Camera anyway so I thought, why not stroll the Big Four Bridge beforehand and take in the glory of the sun?!
My heart is literally full to the brim and I am feeling in love with everything!

MADAME: A Photographic Approach to Giving Back
In five days I will be heading to Haiti to donate my services and photograph twenty Haitian couples on their wedding day. I’m providing my services free of charge, but more importantly, providing documented memories that will be treasured all of their lives and of the lives of the next generations to come. Through my photography, I hope to impart works of beauty, celebrating the brides and the exquisiteness that rests within them.
